General Information
Utility billing is managed by the Billing & Collections Office in the Revenue Division. The City of Santa Monica bills for utilities (water, sewer, and resource recovery & recycling) every two months.

Payment Extensions
You may request a payment extension or make payment arrangements by calling Customer Service at the Billing & Collections Office during business hours at 310-458-8224 extension 1.
Low Income Allowance (for Water & Sewer)
The City of Santa Monica offers low-income rates for water and sewer for qualifying families. For your convenience, you may apply for low-income rates by completing the Application for Low-income Allowance and submitting it with supporting documentation by any of the following means:
